Motorized micromanipulators: for patch clamping and pipette positioning, featuring nanometer resolution and smooth, predictable motion
The Burleigh® PCS-6000 offers extremely precise, fast, stiff and stable micropositioning for electrophysiology research. The new PCS-6000 controller can support an additional manipulator - the PCS-4100 - for either patching, perfusion or excitation. The combination of motorized long travel and PZT smoothness gives the researcher total control.
Features
- PZT technology ensures extremely smooth, predictable motion
- Motors for rapid coarse positioning
- 3- and 4-axis systems available
- Negligible drift for ultra-high stability

The PCS-6000 is compatible with a wide range of accessories, providing maximum flexibility and easy customization.
Accessories include:
Steep/Shallow Headstage Adapter - allows orientation of the headstage and pipette holder at very steep or shallow angles and simplifies pipette exchange even in the tightest spaces. Symmetrical design works on the left and right side of the microscope.
Extension Bracket - when you need a little boost to achieve perfect pipette position.
Magnetic Base - allows quick positioning on magnetic surfaces.
Microscope Mounting Solutions - stable, convenient mounting methods for the most popular fixed stage upright and inverted microscopes.
